There was simply life.

And sometimes, life writes the most beautiful stories in the simplest ways.

It was the year 2006.

A mutual friend casually passed Salie's phone number to Alvin.

No dating apps.

No matching algorithms.

No swiping left or right.

Just one phone number.

One text message.

One conversation.

Neither of us knew that such an ordinary moment would become the beginning of an extraordinary journey.

What began as friendship slowly became something neither of us wanted to imagine life without.

As our love grew, we made one of our biggest decisions together: leaving the familiar behind to begin a new life in Cebu.

Here, we built not only careers in the BPO industry, but also a life filled with dreams, sacrifices, midnight conversations, spontaneous adventures, and countless shared victories.

Like every real love story, ours wasn't perfect.

Life challenged us in ways we never expected.

There were moments of uncertainty.

Unexpected detours.

Typhoons that tested our strength.

Earthquakes that reminded us how fragile life can be.

Seasons that demanded patience, faith, and courage.

Yet through every challenge, we discovered something even more beautiful.

Love isn't measured by how easy the journey is.

Love is choosing the same person, even on the hardest days.

It's holding each other's hand when the road gets rough.

It's becoming home for one another.

As time passed, our dreams evolved.

Together we embraced new opportunities, explored the world of online work, supported one another's passions, celebrated every milestone, and continued building a life side by side.

And somehow...

Twenty years passed.

Twenty years of laughter.

Twenty years of growth.

Twenty years of adventures.

Twenty years of becoming better together.

Twenty years of choosing each other, every single day.

Today is especially meaningful because it is not only our wedding day.

It is also the celebration of 20 years since our journey began.

The love that started with a simple phone number has become a lifetime of memories, and today, before God and surrounded by our family and friends, we promise to continue writing this story together.

This isn't the end of our love story.

It's simply the beginning of our forever.
